Saudi Post signed a cooperation agreement with Etihad Etisalat (Mobily) to market and sell Mobily’s products and services during this year's Haj. Products include SIM Cards for voice and data packages, Haj and Umrah package, mobile devices and prepaid cards at all Saudi Post’s branches in Makkah, Madinah and Jeddah.
Saudi Post for Investment VP Mohammed Al-Abduljabbar and Hamdan Al-Anazi, EGM procurement, signed the agreement on behalf of Mobily in the presence of Majid Al-Battal, SEO consumer sales and distribution, and Abdullah Alattas, GM sales planning and development at Mobily, and Saudi Post’s Marketing Department GM Abdulrahman Al-Dhaban.
Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Abduljabbar praised Mobily’s professional collaboration and its important role in the development of telecommunications sector in the Kingdom and said the agreement comes in keeping with the Saudi Post policy.
Al-Abduljabbar added that Saudi Post has prepared a detailed plan of facilities for this year's pilgrimage.
Majid Albattal said: “We are proud to sign this agreement with Saudi Post. As we seek good planning for the Haj season, especially since sales plan are our priorities, so we are confident in the capabilities of Saudi post to facilitate Mobily products to pilgrims.
Albattal added that Mobily is always keen to harness all its services, human and technical resources to serve the pilgrims, and to work together with the various governmental and private sectors, in order to reach the noble and honorable goal of serving the pilgrims, especially since the development of services provided during Haj and Umrah in line with Vision 2030.
Mobily states that it has provided all the necessary equipment to the Saudi Post sites allocated for providing service in Makkah, Madinah and Jeddah, in addition to appropriate training for their employees to ensure the ease and speed of service delivery.
